After three wonderful months, it is time for me to sadly bid farewell to a country I knew little about, but have grown to very much love: The extreme landscapes – the mountains, volcanos, deserts and glaciers; the music; the art; the culture, spirit and history; but most of all – its beautiful friendly people.

I turned 18 I’m officially an adult now. Come along as we go shopping in Santiago and pack up again for a new adventure as well as celebrating my birthday with our amazing new friends.

In the final blog of my Atacama Desert series, I will spend one last night looking up at a perfect clear sky, illuminated by nothing other than starlight. I will get a bit technical with regard to camera settings, but even if you’re not too interested in the aperture of my lenses, I think you will be interested in some of my stunning photos! ;)
