Hi, I’m Ayesha. I’m 18 and currently living on the Gold Coast. I’m passionate about photography, travel, and documenting real stories through images and writing.
In 2025, my family and I spent a year travelling the world, and this website began as a way to record that journey. I write blogs about the places I’ve travelled, the people I’ve met, and the moments that have shaped me.
It’s now become a space where I continue to share my experiences, reflections, and creative projects as part of my Big Picture learning.

About my Big Picture Journey
My Big Picture Journey began in 2023 at Five Islands Secondary College in Wollongong, where I was introduced to a learning approach that values independence, real‑world experiences, and personalised pathways. During my time there, I developed a strong foundation in self‑directed learning and project‑based work.
In 2025, my family and I travelled the world for a year. This experience broadened my understanding of culture, community, and global perspectives.
After returning to Australia, my family relocated to the Gold Coast. I am now completing my Big Picture Journey and finishing Year 12 at Silkwood School. Here, I continue to build on the skills and experiences I’ve gained — combining academic learning with internships, personal projects, and the independence I developed throughout my travels.
